With these economic times we are all looking to save in every way we can. With a growing necessity for mobile computing, laptops are on the rise. So, it makes since that netbooks are becoming more popular. Netbooks are small and efficient as far as your basic computing needs, not to mention about half the price of many of the mainstream laptops found these days. However, shopping for that perfect netbook can become a little daunting. This is due to the over whelming slew of netbooks being manufactured and companies vying for the top slot for netbook performance. To make your choice easier we have compiled a list of the top ten netbooks from not only the performance stand point but a consumer one as well.

The first versions of netbooks appeared on the shelves towards the end of 2007. They were aimed at the bottom end of the laptop market - people who didn’t require the functionality of an ordinary laptop. They all offered web access, but the majority of them had no hard drives.
Keyboards and screens were smaller than those of laptops. Features were scaled down quite a lot. They were initially marketed as ‘companion devices’ - not to replace but to supplement your other computing devices. As time went by, netbooks have become more powerful though and right now they can rightly be considered to be simply smaller and cheaper notebooks.
While netbooks started it was really only one way, and was the Eee PC. It 'was a small, simple and very cheap. The netbook market has in fact selected as the Netbook, all the madness began, and indeed a new one. Since almost all manufacturers (Acer, Samsung, HP, Dell, Toshiba, LG, Lenovo and MSI), have launched their own attempt to capture some of the Netbooks and the monumental growth of the market.the only major manufacturer that is not a special procedure, created netbook is Apple, but may also change.

The year 2008 was the year of mobile broadband really moving into the mainstream and 2009 seems to be the year to explode, it will be. Mobile broadband services used to deliver the mobile operator's 3G network for super-fast broadband Internet access for its users. This service is available via USB modem and provides the user the option to speed broadband Internet, where he has a laptop and USB modem access full mobility.
Another important element of mobile broadband services is thatno longer need a landline for broadband access. This means that it is simply at home without worrying about the transition to long-line and broadband contract.

Perhaps you can not afford laptops. It must, however, something that is not your budget. Cheap Netbook can perfectly in your computer needs. There are some things to think about before.
A mobile Internet device
Netbook Subnotebook is also known as mini or PC. Decide the exact dimensions of netbooks are not carved in stone. However, some netbooks about half the size of a full-size counterpartsthem. They are usually much cheaper than the computer screen. Just provide the basic functions of the base price.
